Biography
“ Seven makes the best bikes—ever! In fact, I think everyone should have at least two. You won' t regret it.”
I grew up in Cumberland, RI, about 1 hour outside of Boston. I have three brothers, and growing up we were all really into riding our bikes. My first “real” bike was a Dyno comp. It had a sweet chrome finish and Skyway six spoke mags. I loved it because it had a platform around the seat tube so you could surf and do other cool tricks. Honestly I was never all that good at freestyle riding, but my brother could do a mean Miami Hopper.
I have degrees in Environmental Engineering and Recreation Resource Management. After college I moved out West to be a ski bum in Park City, Utah. The ski shop that I worked in also sold lots of high-end mountain bikes, so I quickly took to cycling and soon became the store manager. After my son was born, my wife and I decided to move back East to be closer to family. I took a job as an outside sales rep for a well-known bike parts distributor. When I saw that there was an opportunity at Seven, I got really excited and made it my mission to work here. Most outside sales reps don't want to give up the road, but I couldn't wait. I went from driving 40,000 miles per year to biking less than 2 miles each way to work.
I am married and have two young children. We enjoy camping, biking, hiking and skiing together. Because I ride a bike to work every day, my kids think that I am going to work when I go out on weekend rides too.
