Biography
“We care as much about the means of production as we do our product, which is saying A LOT.”
I knew that I liked riding bikes but it wasn’t until I started at Seven that I realized bicycles were such an important part of my life.
One of my earliest memories is wearing out my Big Wheel on a hill where I grew up in Rochester, NY. I picked up the two-wheel habit a few years later and did some semi-serious mountain bike racing throughout high school. University kept me busy, and off the bike, but I was still riding and racing in the summers.
It took a couple more years but I eventually figured out that I needed to be working in the bike industry. I joined Seven in 2007, during their 10th-year anniversary as a final machinist and finisher. I was fortunate to contribute to the development of the production process for our very first production A6 frames.
Why I work with Seven
At the end of the day, I’ve had a hand in the creation of some of the most beautiful frames and components in the world. Seven inspires so much productivity and creativity.
