Please, do not print and fax this form. For a printable form, click here.

If you are ordering a custom Seven road, cyclocross, or specialty frame, please complete the following form. This involves measuring yourself and your current bike, and answering some questions about your new frame and your riding habits. To build the best frame for you, we must receive answers to all the questions in the Custom Kit. Your accuracy is essential for us to build the best frame for you. Some of our measurement requests are unusual, so please read each section thoroughly. You will need a pencil, a tape measure, and a book with a binding of about 1 1/2" (3.5cm). Take all requested measurements 2-3 times to create an average. Record measurements in centimeters or inches.

Should you wish to develop your own frame geometry, contact Seven and we'll provide you with Frame Specification tables to make calculating your custom geometry easier.

For custom tandem ordering information, please e-mail us.

Important: Your order must be initiated by an authorized Seven Cycles retailer! For the name of the retailer nearest you, please call or e-mail us.

Body Measurements

1: Height
In stocking or bare feet, stand with heels and rump against the wall; feet should be 7" (18cm) apart.
2: Total Body Length
Assume the same stance used for Height. Measure from the ground to the lowest point of your sternal notch.
3: Inseam
Remaining in the Height stance, hold a book with a 1 1/2" (3.5cm) binding so the binding is pressed hard against your crotch—like a saddle, and the bottom of the book is against the wall. Measure from the ground to the top edge of the binding.

4: Arms
Measure each arm seperately. Hold your arm outstretched to your side, horizontal to the ground. Grip a pencil in your fist, perpendicular to your arm. Measure from the pencil to your rib cage, just under your arm.

5: Lower Legs
In stocking or bare feet, in the seated position, measure both the left and right lower legs from the top of your kneecap to the floor.

6: Forearms
Measure each arm seperately. Grip a pencil in your fist perpendicular to your arm. Bend your elbow to a 90 degree bend. Measure from the back side of the elbow to the pencil.
7: Shoulder Width
Measure the distance from the outside of one shoulder to the other.

The Light S1 is recommended for riders weighing less than 130 lbs., as well as for cyclists looking for a comfortable, forgiving ride. It's also an appropriate choice when a short stem—90 mm or less—is necessary. The Standard S2 offers stiffness very similar to that of a forged aluminum stem, yet offers improved damping characteristics for superior comfort. The S2 is suitable for the majority of riders. The Clydesdale S3 will benefit larger riders most, typically those over 200 lbs. This model is also appropriate when frame geometry dictates a long stem—one over 140 mm.
