2010 Seven Development Squad
Applications Open

Seven’s grassroots racing team prepares to launch into our second year and we are now accepting applications for the 2010 squad. The purpose is to foster the growth and enjoyment of bike racing in the United States and identify talented individuals who would benefit from the enhanced riding experience offered by Seven Cycles. Applicants selected to become members of the squad are able to purchase the Seven Cycles equipment of their choice at a preferred pricing schedule to help them reach their racing goals.

Who can participate?

Any amateur or semi-professional racer can apply to be part of Seven’s Development Squad.

How many team spots are available?

A maximum of 20 athletes from across the United States will be selected for 2010. In 2009 we selected six athletes.

When is the application deadline?

The deadline for submitting your application via our website is 6 PM EST February 15, 2010

How do I apply?

You submit your application online through our online form. To be accepted, you must designate an Authorized Seven Retailer who will recommend you to be part of this program. Retailers will be able to recommend a maximum of two athletes. If your mailing address is more than 120 miles from the nearest Seven Retailer, you can submit your application directly to Seven Cycles.

What are the terms of the program?

  1. Acceptance to the program is for one year beginning March 1, 2010. Athletes must reapply each year to be part of the program
  2. Sponsored athletes will submit their race results monthly to Seven Cycles for inclusion in regular updates to our publications
  3. Sponsored athletes are not allowed to sell or dispose of their bike during the calendar year of sponsorship
  4. We request that athletes register for races with “Seven Cycles” in their team affiliation wherever it does not conflict with their local team sponsorship
