What is Seven's "Mobius SL" suspension bike?

The Mobius excels at long rides on varied terrain that features punchy climbs and technical descents. This bike wants to be out all day, and excels at climbing without needing a mechanical lockout mechanism to transfer all your power to the pedals. Butted frame tubing adds to the bike's dynamic compliance and gives the rider greater control over the bike as a whole.

Now THIS is a bike. 140 mm fork travel mated to 29 inch wheels will have you rolling over stuff you never thought possible, and doing it at speed. The 120 mm rear travel keeps the bike feisty and ready to accelerate out of corners and ahead of your mates. When you want big hit fun with cross-counrty speed, this is the bike. What's a Seven Parts Kit?

Seven tends to keep the kits matching by brand. While this make the price a bit higher we find that you end up with a better performing bike that lasts longer and has a lower total cost of ownership. Even small details like cables and housing that are kit matching. This might sound trivial but over a few months of riding a high quality housing set will perform much better than cheap imitations that look almost identical.

Which kit brand is right for me: Shimano or SRAM components?

Both SRAM and Shimano have exceptional offerings. And, both brands have very different offerings. Therefore, each kit has different strengths and considerations. Under the Shimano and SRAM headings you've find a few truths about these brands. These are generalized statements so these traits are not true in 100% of cases but they are usually accurate.

Some of the most common reasons riders choose their brand include:

Tends to have the smoothest shifting, lighter action, and more forgiving of wear. Lighter kit per dollar.
Most popular and ubiquitous anywhere in the world: Particularly good if you're riding in remote areas where you want to maximize the odds local bike shops will have replacement parts. More progressive and cutting edge: Wireless shifting, 1x chainrings, etc.
Proven, conservative technology. Most durable and longer service intervals. Simpler shifting mechanism means lighter and easier to service in some cases.
More forgiving to poor setup. Shifting and braking are liekly to work better even when not well maintained. Innovative AXS wireless shifting systems available. Clean look, newest offering in the industry.
